1st and 2nd Grade Book Reports

| When our first graders are reading 'chapter books' (books with chapters :) ) we begin working on comprehension by encouraging book reports. When a student finishes a chapter book, s/he can complete a book report and turn it in to me. When five are completed, I recognize the accomplishment in front of the class. I read off the books the student read, and ask him/her to tell us about his/her favorite. I award a pack of fruit snacks. |
